FROM FIRST ORDER TO FINAL GARNISH
Five steps turn fresh ingredients into a satisfying order. Keep your ticket in sight and use the quiet moments to manage the side dish.
Make three cuts when the marker enters the green zone. Careful preparation contributes up to 20 points before the bowl begins.
Read the order ticket and choose shoyu, miso, or tonkotsu. The correct broth earns 20 points.
Cook for at least four seconds, then lift inside the green zone for up to 30 points. If gyoza is on the ticket, start the pan while your noodles cook.
Match the toppings on the ticket. Tap an ingredient to add it; tap again to remove it. The exact combination earns 30 points.
Serve your guest, collect coins, and choose an upgrade. Continue through five customers to finish the shift, then open the next day.
MORE THAN ONE BOWL
Build a rhythm across preparation, cooking, and customer service. Every feature below is playable in this browser version.
Five guests make a shift. Finish the day, see your earnings, then open again with new combinations on the menu. A missed order moves you forward instead of ending the whole game.
Time three cuts, choose the requested broth, cook the noodles for at least four seconds, and build the bowl ingredient by ingredient. Your technique contributes directly to the 100-point score.
Gyoza side orders turn your kitchen into a small multitasking challenge. Watch the pan turn golden while you finish the ramen, then plate the dumplings at the right moment.
Earn coins from bowls, daily challenges, serving streaks, sides, and critic bonuses. Spend them on seating, precision tools, and service, then follow your best bowl and career records between shifts.
Shop shift uses customer deadlines. Relaxed mode gives you the same recipes and progression with no customer time limit. Pause either mode whenever you need a break.
Play with a mouse, keyboard, or touch controls. An original lavender-and-jade kitchen, live bowl assembly, optional sound, fullscreen, and a 2D fallback keep the experience accessible.
A SMALL SHOP WITH REAL DEPTH
Cook noodles while the gyoza pan runs beside them. Each station has its own sweet spot, turning every side order into a small multitasking challenge.
Preparation, broth, noodles, and toppings score separately. You always know which part to improve before the next customer arrives.
Daily challenges, personal records, saved upgrades, new recipes, and critic visits give each shift a reason to lead into another.

GET TO KNOW YOUR INGREDIENTS
Explore the recipe collection in Japanese Ramen Simulator Cooking Game. Four combinations appear on day one; Garden Miso and Sunrise Tonkotsu unlock from day two.
DAY 1 · THE FIRST ORDER
Amber shoyu broth with soft egg, chashu, and scallions. Your opening recipe makes it easy to learn preparation, noodle timing, and ticket matching before the side orders arrive.
DAY 1 · COMFORT FOOD
Golden miso with corn, soft egg, and scallions. Your second guest also wants gyoza, giving you a chance to run the frying pan alongside the noodle pot.
DAY 1 · CREAMY & SAVORY
A pale tonkotsu base with chashu, nori, and narutomaki. Check the ticket carefully: this bowl swaps the egg and scallions for seaweed and the pink fish-cake spiral.
DAY 1 · CRITIC’S FIRST VISIT
Shoyu with four toppings: egg, chashu, nori, and scallions. This is the first critic’s order. Keep your preparation clean and manage the gyoza pan for a rewarding shift finale.
DAY 2 · A FRESH COMBINATION
Miso broth with corn, nori, and scallions. This newly unlocked order rewards reading the ticket instead of repeating the Hokkaido topping combination from memory.
DAY 2 · BRIGHT & COLORFUL
Tonkotsu with soft egg, corn, and narutomaki. Another day-two recipe adds variety as you continue serving customers and building a better-equipped ramen shop.
The six toppings give each order its identity. Soft egg adds a golden center, chashu brings the pork slices, nori adds a dark seaweed garnish, and scallions finish the bowl with green. Corn and the pink spiral of narutomaki complete the ingredient selection.
This is an order-based cooking challenge: creativity starts with how precisely you cook. The requested combination stays on screen, and selected ingredients are marked as you add them. Extra ingredients reduce your topping score, so a careful final check can make the difference between a good bowl and a perfect one.
AIM FOR THE PERFECT 100
Your 100-point bowl score measures preparation, broth, noodles, and toppings. Gyoza, streaks, and the critic add coins on top of your bowl earnings.
Put it into practiceLand three cuts in the green zone. Precision tools widen this zone as your shop improves.
Check the ticket before choosing. Shoyu, miso, and tonkotsu each belong to a different order.
Let the noodles cook for four seconds, then lift in the green zone. Its starting range is 38–62%; precision upgrades make it wider.
Include all the requested ingredients and nothing extra. Each mismatch costs 10 points from this category.
Read the whole ticket first. Choose your broth with confidence, then focus on the noodle meter. If you miss the green zone, wait for the next pass instead of rushing. Check the highlighted toppings before serving, and remember that the customer timer in Shop shift keeps running until your bowl is served. Need a break? Pause the kitchen and pick up exactly where you left off.
EVERYTHING ELSE, ANSWERED
Japanese Ramen Simulator Cooking Game is an independent single-player browser game about running a small ramen workshop. Chop ingredients, choose broth, time the noodles, arrange toppings, and cook gyoza side orders. Serve five customers per shift, earn coins, and improve your kitchen between orders.
Press Play now on the game image or Start cooking in the welcome panel. Each shift has five guests and continues into another day when you finish. Shop shift gives each customer 60 seconds before upgrades; Relaxed mode removes the customer deadline. There is no fixed number of days, so you can keep developing your shop.
Yes. Both modes, all six recipes, gyoza side orders, and all kitchen upgrades are free. Coins are earned by playing and have no real-money value. There are no purchases or accounts required to start cooking.
Three accurately timed cuts earn up to 20 preparation points. The correct broth earns 20, well-timed noodles earn 30, and the exact toppings earn 30. Each missing or extra topping costs 10 topping points. Let noodles cook for at least four seconds, then lift in the green zone. An expired customer order scores zero.
Guests two, four, and five request gyoza. Start the pan after ingredient preparation, then continue making the ramen. Plate gyoza between six and nine seconds for a 20-coin bonus when you serve the bowl. Plating from three to under six seconds, or after nine but before twelve, earns five coins. Burnt or skipped gyoza earns no side bonus.
Cozy seating adds 10 seconds to each customer deadline per level. Precision tools widen the green zones for chopping and noodles. Better service adds five coins to each served bowl per level. Each upgrade has three levels costing 60, 110, and 180 coins. Buy upgrades between guests after serving a bowl.
The first day introduces Tokyo Classic, Hokkaido Bowl, Midnight Bowl, and House Special. Garden Miso and Sunrise Tonkotsu join the menu from day two. The recipes combine shoyu, miso, or tonkotsu broth with soft egg, chashu, nori, scallions, corn, and narutomaki. Your current ticket always lists the exact recipe.
The fifth customer of every shift is a food critic. A bowl scoring at least 85 earns an extra 30 coins, in addition to regular earnings and any gyoza bonus. Consecutive bowls scoring at least 80 build a serving streak, adding five coins per streak level up to 25 coins.
Your coins, upgrades, best bowl, milestones, and completed orders save in this browser when local storage is available. Reloading during cooking restarts the current customer; completed orders are kept. Clearing browser data removes the save, and progress does not transfer automatically between devices. If storage is unavailable, you can still play for the current visit.
Yes. Use taps on a phone or tablet, a mouse on desktop, or Tab with Enter and Space on a keyboard. Pause freezes customer patience, chopping, noodles, and gyoza together. Switching away from the tab also pauses an active order. Devices without 3D support use an illustrated cooking scene with the same game controls.
This is a separate, independently made browser cooking game with original workshop artwork and its own single-player progression. It is not the Steam release and does not connect to Steam saves or online multiplayer. The features described on this page are the features you can play here.
